The resort municipality of Whistler, British Columbia is home to around 10,000 residents as of 2011. For the most part, it's known as a vacation destination for seasonal residents and predominantly for tourists who visit for short periods of time.   • The Four Seasons Resort Whistler: One of the top-rated hotels in Canada, this branch of the Four Seasons global hotel franchise offers those on vacation a wide variety of amenities and perks.
