The Cane Corso, or Italian mastiff, is an athletic dog that requires a lot of exercise. He can do fine in an apartment provided he is taken for either a daily jog or a long, brisk walk. A home is likely better for this dog as he will have more room to move around and less chance of knocking something over. Corsos can live outside if they're provided with adequate shelter from the elements. These dogs will not stray far from the homes--they are very loyal and try to stay close to their owners.
