Whether you're renting or buying a condo, you should look into acquiring reliable condo insurance to protect you and your family's assets.
The three main facets of condo insurance are:
• Dwelling: insures property not covered by your condo association's master policy, such as items you personally installed (e.g., kitchen cabinets, flooring, etc.)
• Personal liability: If your property injures a visitor and he decides to file a lawsuit, you'll be covered by your insurance.
• Personal property: insures your belongings and valuables in case of a malfunction or accident (pipe burst, fire, etc.).
