Every little girl loves to play Princess. I've heard from friends that their daughters love to have a Princess bouquet when they play, like the Royal Wedding, of course. I don't have to tell you that buying flowers at the store is expensive, so what better idea is there than to let your daughters grow their own flowers for fresh bouquets to hold while playing Princess or Bride? By choosing the right flowers, your little Princess can have fresh bouquets all summer long.
Step 1: You'll need to set up a space for your Princess Garden. Choose a place with good sunlight and prepare the soil.
Step 2: Choose the proper plants in Princess colors: pinks, purples, yellows. Some general suggestions for fast-growing, easy to cut flowers are below. Of course, you may have some regional varieties that are easy to grow and cut. Depending on where you live, these plants should continue producing from late spring through early fall (longer in some climates).
Step 3: Teach your daughter to plant and tend to her Princess Garden. Encourage proper fertilization, watering and patience. Let her decorate her garden with gazing balls, gnomes or other fun garden decor.
Step 4: Sit back and enjoy your Princess Garden while it grows. When it's time to play Princess wedding, run out and cut a bouquet for Her Royal Highness and let the fun begin.
