Your bachelor's degree will generally allow you to earn more money in your lifetime and have more job opportunities. Getting a bachelor's degree can mean being out of the workforce and not making any money for four years. This can also mean having to pay back a hefty student loan and therefore having to pay part of your earnings towards repayment for years. Having a bachelor's degree does not necessarily mean you will find a high paying job right away, but many higher paying jobs require higher education.
